Please help 3 brothers raise funds to attend the U13 & U15 nationals softball tournaments in Auckland in 2019.

Bay of Plenty

Blair, Brock and Blake Percy are 3 brothers from Tauranga who have all been selected to play representative softball for the WBOP Softball Association. Blair and Brock have been selected for the U15 Boys team for 2018/2019, while Brock and Blake have been selected for the U13 team for 2018/2019.

After moving from Auckland to Tauranga in 2013, Blair and Brock both decided to take up softball, with Blake joining in soon after and now younger brother Zack. They absolutely love the game, they consider it to be the most exciting of all the sports they have previously played.

Blair played in the WBOP U13 team for the 2017/2018 season and was invited to trial for the ISA U13 team, but didn't meet age eligibility.

Being a regional rep sports player comes with financial commitments.

The U15 team will be travelling to Papakura for the U15 nationals in January 2019. The cost for each player is $400. This includes individual players uniform, tournament fees, travel, accommodation, meals and incidentals.

The U13 team will be travelling to North harbour for the U13 Rookie Sox North Island Champs in February 2019, where they will experience a training session with the Black Sox and also get to see the Black Sox play a game against either Japan or Australia. The cost for this tournament will be $150 per player.

In addition, both teams are considering attending 2 other tournaments, both to be held in Auckland in February 2019. There will be travel costs and possibly accommodation costs for these tournaments also.

As proud parents we would love the opportunity to travel to Auckland too and watch Blair, Brock and Blake compete in the respective national tournaments.

We would therefore welcome and be extremely appreciative of your donations to help these 3 brothers play their sport at a national level and help us as parents watch and support them.

Use of funds

Tournament fees, individual players uniforms, travel, accommodation, meals, incidentals. Any surplus donations will be used to buy new gloves, bats and cleats for Blair and Brock.
