Help an amazing young girl to change her life around.

Dear friends,

I want to share the story of an amazing girl named Nomvelo in South Africa. We met Nomvelo when my daughter was in year 1 and they became inseparable. Nomvelo became a huge part of our family. Her family was never picture perfect her mother had died when she was born and her father was never in the picture. Her granny took her in and even though she had barely anything she made sure to be able to send Nomvelo through school even when she was struggling to make ends meet. Nomvelo worked hard in school and has now had the opportunity to study criminology and psychology and wants to break the cycle and make something of her life while showing her gran that all the struggle they went through was worth it.

She lives on her own now as her granny is now taking care of her other grandchildren despite how old she. She was getting funded through university by the government but they have pulled back from doing so.

So any donations would be really appreciated. It would go towards paying for her rent, food and university.

Even if donating isn’t an option sharing it would go along way.
