Help a family of 7 keep their house

My father in law died a year ago, he left my partner the house, here's the catch we need 40k to keep it.

We need to pay 19k towards the existing mortgage and 21k to public trust for fees and other costs. We have to pay 40k or Public Trust needs to sell our house to get it.

We're unable to get a home loan.

Currently the house is under public trust and they're hounding us for the money. We would love to keep the house for our 5 children and would prefer not to sell up and possibly be homeless.

Our home is currently under renovation, my father in law put a lot of effort into the house and we'd love to finish what he started. It would be a shame to have to up and leave.

We've decided to try ask for help on here and and donations how ever big or small will be greatly appreciated.

Went to see lawyer today, told the fees stand. And referred onto a finance company. Thank you to everyone who has shared and donated.
