Single father raising funds for legal fees to finalize custody and secure stability for my three children in Aotearoa.
Ascot Park, Porirua
Kia ora whānau,
I’m reaching out once again for support as I continue the long and difficult journey of finalizing custody for my three beautiful tamariki. As their primary caregiver, I’ve been doing everything I can to provide them with a safe, stable life here in Aotearoa.
So far, attorney and court costs in Hawaii have already reached over $17,000, and every bit of my resources has been drained to get us this far. Unfortunately, I now need to raise an additional $20,000 to cover the legal fees needed to bring this custody case to completion.
At the same time, I’m also navigating the process of securing New Zealand citizenship for my Māori children, so they can have access to their birthright of education, medical care, and a future here where they belong.
This has not been an easy road, but the love and encouragement I’ve received from friends, family, and even strangers has meant the world to me. Even though my last fundraiser didn’t meet its full goal, the support given helped us take big steps forward — and I’m deeply grateful.
Now, I humbly ask once more for your help. Whether it’s a donation or simply sharing this page with others, every contribution makes a difference. Together, we can make sure these children are able to settle here in New Zealand, surrounded by whānau, culture, and opportunity.
