Our heart is to help Kiwis who find reading and writing challenging. We want to help them improve and gain confidence to read and write.

Nationwide

We are a non profit organisation committed to helping the 1 in 10 adults and the 3 in 10 youth who struggle with reading and literacy.

Our passion is to help these Kiwis overcome the challenges of reading and writing, to boost their self esteem, and help them to use literacy with confidence - without feeling ashamed or shut down.

Each year we receive limited funding through grants - yet this does not help us cover the ongoing costs for staff wages, and for the resources and tools required for our Adult and Youth Student packs, and the list goes on.

Rural Youth And Adult Literacy need your help (PLEASE) to continue helping the many Kiwis who reach out to us to help improve their reading and writing. We want to give them the self confidence and self awareness they deserve, through believing in them and guiding them through, breaking what they see as a barrier.

About us

RYALT is a non-profit organization that supplies free help to isolated teenagers and adults who have trouble with reading and writing anywhere around New Zealand.

Use of funds

With the help of your donation, we will be able to continue to keep staff and pay their wages, supply the tools and resources the students need as part of their coaching, on going supplies required for our Coaches and Ambassador packs.
