Help a Stray- Save a life - Tom the lost Cat's ongoing vet costs and food, while in foster care, until a permanent home can be found.

Auckland

Hi there, I have found a foster home home for a Feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) cat that I caught as a stray at my flat - he has been desexed last week, but still required ongoing medical expenses for the many injuries from being attacked by other cats in the neighbor hood, as well as the FIV medication.

Male tabby approx 3 years slightly blind in one eye- was on the street for a while, but very cuddly and friendly now hes had some attention ! Also litter box trained- definitely not a wild/feral cat (which makes him a great candidate for re-homing to a permanent home, as the foster placement is for 2 weeks only!)

Use of funds

Your donations will help with the ongoing food and medical costs for the cat, which has horrific wounds that were untreated until I rescued him, as well as fiv medication.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
