Help the Wickenden family as they face an unknown but complicated medical journey for their precious daughter.

The Wickenden family have a huge challenge in front of them. Their long awaited baby number 2, a precious daughter due in August has been diagnosed with some very significant cardiac and neurological issues. The family are having to relocate to Auckland before babies birth so she can be taken into surgery at starship soon after she is born. The severity of the medical complications mean that the amount of time they need to be in Auckland is unknown but potentially months. This will cause a significant financial impact due to loss of earnings. After the initial surgery, they will be facing more trips to Auckland and further surgeries.

Use of funds
All money will be spent on helping the family with costs associated with living away from their home in Palmerston North and ease the financial burden

Hi all, firstly Jess and Sam are so grateful and absolutely blown away by the generosity and well wishes. Every message has been read and they take heart in the support they have recieved.
Today is a big day! They finish their journey to Auckland and move into Ronald McDonald house. They will then be meeting the team of specialists from Starship who will be caring for baby.
Further updates will be posted over time. Thank you again for being so wonderful and caring for Jess and Sam.
