Help a young family get back on their feet

Newly separated single mum, has been left with a house that resembles a building zone, and is trying to fundraise to make it liveable for me and my 2 young kids. Just wanting to give us a fresh start.
At the moment there is not one room in the house that is finished- there is no water in the kitchen so dishes have to be washed in the bath tub.
Use of funds
Somewhere to live for me and my kids- either a rental property or money to pay to have the house liveable- eg plugs in the wall and water in the kitchen
