Help us raise funds for young promising fighter Dmitri Gladkih to represent NZ at international judo competitions.
Wellington
My son Dmitri joined the Kapiti Judo Club ten years ago as a shy boy who wanted to build some skills to fend off school bullies. Now, at 16, Dmitri is off to Oceania to represent New Zealand at the Oceania Judo Union Championships.
Over the past two years, Dmitri won golds in local and national events. At his first international event in 2017, Dmitri won gold in Cadet Men under 66 kg and bronze in Cadet Men Open.
Dmitri is super dedicated to his training and has been keeping the strictest of regimes over the past two months to keep his fighting skills at the top of his game. Dmitri is a caring young man with a commitment and passion to make his family and country proud.
Dmitri has proven he is a fighter worth noticing. Please help us take his judo to the next level.
Funds raised will be used to pay for travel and accommodation for the July competition in Hong Kong and all going well potentially support Dmitri in two other competitions later this year.
My son has been training in judo most of his life. At 16, he has now been selected to represent New Zealand at major international competitions. I am keen to help him make the most of these opportunities. Givealittle is our hope as these events require a substantial contribution from our family.
Funds raised will be used to pay for travel and accommodation for the April competition in New Caledonia, and all going well potentially support Dmitri in two other competitions later this year.
