Help Adriana Get to Maadi 2026 🚣‍♀️

We’re raising $2,700 to help Adriana travel to compete at the Maadi Regatta, which will be held this year at Lake Ruataniwha in Twizel, South Island [23rd- 28th March].

Maadi is the largest secondary school sporting event in the Southern Hemisphere, the pinnacle of the rowing season and a huge achievement to qualify for.

Adriana is a Year 12 student in her third year rowing for Westlake Girls High School. Her days often begin at 4:30am, a normal week in peak season may see her train up to 18 hours a week. Early mornings in the dark, long days on the water, gym sessions, weekend regattas, pushing through she consistently shows up for her crew and her goals.

We are incredibly proud of the dedication Adriana has shown to earn her place in the Westlake Girls High School Rowing, Maadi Squad. With travel to the South Island, flights, accommodation, food, and event costs add up quickly in a short timeframe. Funds raised will go directly toward making this opportunity possible.
