I am fundraising to attend the London International Youth Science Forum in July/August of this year.
Auckland
My name is Aidan Goh. I am a Year 13 student at Sacred Heart College in Auckland and am one of a small group of students from New Zealand selected to participate in the upcoming London International Youth Science Forum (LIYSF) a not-for- profit enterprise with HRH Princess Margaret as the royal patron.
This international event runs in July/August of this year and is attended by science student leaders aged 16-21 from more than 70 participating countries. Attendees like me will get the unique opportunity to meet and collaborate with other student leaders from around the world to better understand global problems and gain valuable insights on how science can be used to help. We also gain the invaluable opportunity to hear from a Nobel peace prize winner. This will be a great experience and opportunity for me to grow and I should very much like to share my experiences when I return, so that other students may benefit from my experience.
I am looking for your help to raise $10,000 to cover the cost for travel and expenses. A small donation of $10 (less than the price of 2 cups of barista bought coffee) or more if you are able will help towards my goal of raising $10,000.
Please check out the website, https://www.liysf.org.uk/ for more information.
I would like to take the opportunity now to thank you in advance for your contribution.
Please know that I am extremely grateful that you have taken time to consider this request and donate towards my cause.
Thank you again!
- Aidan

Money raised will cover the travel, expenses and the actual forum so will contribute to the speakers, lab visits and university visits.
The cost breakdown is airfares (approx NZD $3,500), food, accommodation and other costs (approx NZD $6,500)
