  • Ongoing cost of specialist appointments & treatment

    Hey everyone, here is a breakdown of what we have achieved so far, and the ongoing costs I have.

    - I am no longer bedbound!! This illness often ebbs and flows, I am still sick but at least I can go outside!

    - I have received a couple of new diagnoses which may seem like a bad thing but for me it means getting answers and possible treatment pathways, and a better understanding of what is making me sick. This was only possible because I was able to access a specialist thanks to your help and support.

    Ongoing cost breakdown:

    Meds: approximately $60 per month

    Doctor & specialist appointments: $750 every 3 months

    Hey everyone,

    Thank you so much for all of your help. Because of you I have been able to access a specialist who has begun to find some answers. Unfortunately testing, treating, and testing again is an ongoing process, and if I am to continue seeing this specialist I will require ongoing support in order to pay for it. Any help is deeply appreciated.
