I am currently in my second year studying a Bachelor of Creative Practice at the Eastern Institute of Technology in Hawkes Bay.

I have reached my last project of the year titled 'Competition project' which requires me to create a body of work and submit it into a competition of my choice. My idea is to design and make a 3 piece fashion collection inspired by the ocean and the fear that surrounds it. I and pulling my inspiration from Micheal Muller's underwater photography, World of Wearable Arts, Alexander McQueen and phobias such as Xenophobia, Claustrophobia and Thalassophobia. I will also be looking at using sea creatures that are seen to be dangerous or scary as my inspiration.

This project requires me to fund materials such as fabric and tools in order to complete my project. And this is where I ask for your help, with your help my ideas and concepts can become a reality, giving me a greater opportunity to be successful in my studies.

Use of funds

Kindly donated funds will be used to buy materials like fabric, tool and embellishments to construct my fashion collection. They will also cover the cost of entry fees for the competition.
