Help Anita Stay in New Zealand with Her Family

My name is Annika and I’m fundraising to help my amazing mum, Anita, with the costs of her residency application here in New Zealand.

Anita is 70 years old, a widow, and originally from South Africa. She came to New Zealand to be close to family, and this country has become a place of peace and healing for her after a life of hardship and deep personal losses.

She is a kind, gentle soul who has spent her life putting others first. Now, all she wants is to stay in Aotearoa, New Zealand —somewhere safe, surrounded by loved ones, and where she can enjoy her golden years without fear of being separated from her whānau/Family.

We are in the process of applying for her residency, but as many know, the immigration process comes with significant financial challenges. Between legal fees, application costs, and documentation, the total comes to approximately $7,500 NZD—an amount we’re struggling to cover on our own.
