Annabelle's been with me since I was 4, now she has cancer and needs surgery I can't afford alone. Help me fight for her.
Canterbury
Annabelle has been with me my whole life.
She was born here, one of our other cat's kittens, when I was 4 years old. I'm 20 now. She's been there for everything. When I was little, she was this spicy, fearless mouser who basically ran the house. As I grew up, she mellowed out with me. These days she's just my constant companion, the cat who's always been there, through every stage of my life.
A couple of weeks ago, we noticed something was wrong. She wasn't eating like she normally does, and she was straining with hard poos. We took her to the vet and got the news no one wants to hear: there's a lump around her intestines. It's cancer. The vet says she needs surgery to remove it, and soon, or she's not going to make it.
The surgery costs over $10,000. I've been saving what I can, but I can't cover it on my own, not even close. Annabelle's been part of my family for 16 years. She was born in our home. I can't lose her without fighting for her, but I need help to do it.
Every dollar, even $5, gets us closer to giving her the chance she deserves. If we can raise enough for the surgery, she's got a real shot at more good years. Without it, we're out of options.
Thank you for reading this. Thank you for anything you can give. Annabelle's been with me my whole life, and this surgery could buy us a few more years together. She deserves that chance.
Annabelle has been my partner in crime for my whole life, and with this surgery I'll be able to get a few more years with her.
The funds cover Annabelle's intestinal surgery, anaesthesia, theatre fees, hospitalisation, IV fluids, medications, and tissue testing to confirm the cancer type. All funds raised will go towards Annabelle's vet costs.
A hundred dollars is so incredibly generous. Thank you so much. Every bit gets Annabelle closer to her chance and I'm so grateful you chose to help us.
I am absolutely blown away. $1000 is beyond anything I could have expected and I don't have words for how grateful I am. You've brought us so much closer to getting Annabelle her surgery. Thank you, truly, from the bottom of my heart.
Every dollar gets her closer to her chance. I can't thank you enough.
