Help Ava Grace represent New Zealand in Musical Theatre! Fundraising to train in NYC and perform as an International AllStar at JTF Atlanta!

Hi! My name is Ava Grace, I’m almost 15 from the North Shore of Auckland. I have lived and breathed musical theatre for as long as I can remember.
I recently had the opportunity to audition to be part of the International All-Stars performance troupe and I’m incredibly proud to share that I was selected as one of few to represent New Zealand! The International All-Stars is a group of talented young musical theatre performers from around the world chosen to travel to the USA for a once-in-a-lifetime performance and training tour. As part of this unique opportunity, I will get to work with and learn from Broadway theatre industry professionals in New York City and then we travel to and perform at Junior Theatre Festival Atlanta, the world’s largest youth musical theatre festival with over 9000 attendees.
It is organised by Travel Gang in collaboration with Music Theatre International Australasia and Junior Theatre Festival Australia & New Zealand.
To make this dream a reality, I need to raise over NZD $12,000 to cover the costs of my travel, training, accommodation, and performance.

Use of funds
All monies raised will contribute to Ava Grace's cost of the tour (approximately $12,000 NZD) this includes: flights, Musical Theatre workshops, JTF admission, Broadway tickets, expert tuition from industry professionals, accommodation and food.

Little update and a huge thank you! 27 August 2025
Hi everyone, lots been going on in the background over here. I have been selected to participate in the Pilot Programme at Junior Theatre Festival New Zealand in October. This is such a cool experience that I also did last year (I was Princess Esmeralda in the Britney Spears inspired Once Upon a One More Time). We get the opportunity to workshop and perform a brand new, not-yet-released Broadway Junior musical. It is all auditioned, cast, rehearsed and performed in a week!!
I also attended a Musical Theatre Masterclass a few weeks ago with Kiwi Musical Theatre royalty - Hayden Tee. He has played so many amazing roles on stages throughout the world but most notably Marius (Les Misérables) and Javert (Les Misérables) on London's West End and Broadway and the current World Tour, Miss Trunchbull (Matilda) on the West End and recently Lance Du Bois in & Juliiet (Australia). It was such an amazing opportunity and he gave me so much to think about in terms of my performing and bringing all aspects of myself to the stage.
I also performed in StageAntics recent cabaret style show at the Pumphouse Theatre. Such a fun experience and amazing group of girls.
Unfortunately a few fundraising ideas we had have not been able to go ahead as planned but we still have things up our sleeve so please keep your eyes and ears open!
