Ayla would really like to be able to swim in the sea and enjoy the beach the best she can with our family, she really deserves this.
Nelson / Tasman
Ayla is an 8 year old girl who has Rett syndrome. She is unable to walk, talk, has seizures and also has a scoliosis. She has trouble breathing and holds her breath, this is all part of Rett syndrome. As she is getting bigger now, it is getting more difficult to carry her around the beach. She can no longer sit by herself so is unable to sit in the water and play.
We are reaching out today as we hoping to get ayla a Hippocampe for summer so she is able to enjoy the beach and be an active part of our family. The Hippocampe allows Ayla to be pushed on the sand and also can be used in the water.
With Hippocampe, you can cross the sand, get over any obstacles and go right into the sea. And Hippocampe floats while you have a swim!
Here is a link below about the Hippocampe which will give you more insite into the great cause you are supporting:

We thank you for your support in our journey.
The funds we are able to raise will go directly towards the Hippocampe, if we exceed our target anything extra will go towards extra equipment to give Ayla a better quality of life.
