    Hi everyone,

I hope all is well at your end and we thank the Lord for His never ending love, guidance and providence in our lives.

On behalf of Baby Vena and her family, I would like to take this opportunity to say a big "Vinaka Vakalevu" which means Thank You Very Much (in Fijian) for all your kind contribution and donations in helping baby Vena Faith Coriakula during her open heart surgery at the Starship Hospital in Auckland.

We do appreciate all your kind financial assistance, well wishes and prayers which enabled Baby Vena to be flown over from Fiji with her twin sister (Mela Hope Coriakula) and both their parents on 26.03.2021. All your donations meant alot to them and has been very well utilized whilst they were in Auckland during her operation and recovery period.

Vena had a successful open heart surgery within a week of their arrival and she has now fully recovered with good health. Today also marks the 7 months of their arrival into our family and we are so blessed to have them.

God is so good and He can even open doors of opportunity no one can ever shut, especially during this difficult time when borders were shut.

"The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps." - Prov. 16: 9.

The good news is that now their dad has managed to secure a job offer and after weeks of waiting for the New Zealand Immigration, we are so glad to inform that they now have a 3 year Work Visa. This means that Baby Vena and Mela will now live in Auckland with their parents and should be able to access good health services whenever they need to. Now we look forward to get them settle down and also get their older siblings (Rosi and Tony) immigration paperwork so they can also join them in the near future.

We also would like to give our special thanks to all the families and friends up in Auckland for accommodating and taking good care of Vena and Mela on our behalf as they get settled into the Auckland Big City life. Vinaka vakalevu na loloma.

Once again we as a family, would like to thank each and everyone who has donated, wished them good luck, accommodated them and prayed for them during the last couple of months. We are all humbled and grateful for your contributions and we do agree that if it weren't for your kind donations, they wouldn't have made it this far. So once again from the bottom of our hearts, we thank each and everyone for sharing the love to Baby Vena and her family.

We do pray that the Almighty God will bless you all abundantly, multiply your wealth and give you all good health so you can keep sharing the love.

Warm regards and best wishes from the Coriakula family.

  • Vena's Post Operation and her road to recovery Update.

      9 April 2021

We would like to thank the Lord for Vena's successful open heart surgery which took place about a week ago. They have also completed their mandatory 14 days isolation period and they are so happy to be able to meet their dad (Netani) again ever since they landed in Auckland.

According to her doctors, they have successfully attended to all her 3 heart complications and now it's just the waiting game for her to recover which might take a couple of months. Baby Vena spent 1 week in the Intensive Care Unit after her operation and yesterday she was given the green light to join her twin sister and their mom in their ward. She is recovering very well.

Thank you once again for all your kind donations which will tremendously help them during their stay in Auckland for the next couple of months. We are also very grateful for all the support and your continuous prayers.
