Help Baloo to have his surgery

UPDATE ON BALOO

So it appears he has a very fractured pelvis, bruising and bleeding in his lower abdomen, blood in his urine to the point the vet has to help his bladder release as he cannot position himself to pee.

They can operate at Massey but it is going to cost between $3500-$5000.

I have spent just over $750 till now, which includes multiple X-rays, medication and bolus under the skin. He won’t eat or drink, which I don’t blame him. He’s continually growling and in pain even though he’s medicated to the hilt.

Baloo it may be that I have to let you be pain free and go to cat heaven, I’m just so not sure what to do.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I thought about starting a give a little fund, but is this even morally right? Ideas and help needed from this sad cat mama 😭😪😢

My poor Baloo was accidentally let outside last night 😖. He did not come home all night or today 🥺😢. A lovely lady and her partner found him one street over with what looked like a broken back or legs as he was dragging him self along 😭. She advertised in a community group and I saw my poor baby, got him back and took him right to the vet. $522 later. But oh so worth it. X-rays done and they think he’s broken his right side of his pelvis. Vet said he’s definitely been run over by a car 😭. More x-rays tomorrow
