Help Barbara through her breast cancer healing by contributing to her holistic support program.
Auckland
I’m in shock and feeling heartbroken 💔 by my darling friend’s breast cancer news...
Barbara is a vibrant woman, a gorgeous mother of two, a loving wife to her adoring husband, a true free spirit and a yoga goddess.
She is the light and the strength to her family and friends.
Cancer is so insidious and indiscriminate...
Luckily it was caught early enough (Stage 2) and we are all very hopeful that Barbara will conquer it.
6 months chemo, operation and radiotherapy after that. This is her new path.
She’s responding well to treatment and her spirits are high, despite losing 2 friends to cancer last year...
She is at the beginning of her journey and the support of family and friends has been overwhelmingly strong.
As her proactive inner circle, we quickly chipped in for some remedies proven to help through chemo. And more and more people are asking to be involved. This is why I’m starting this page. Everyone who knows Barbara wants to help.
Help comes in all shapes and forms - from inspiring recovery stories to useful resources.
One recommendation in particular resonated with Barbara deeply, because of who she is and what she truly believes in - a program from a renowned naturopath and nutritionist, Dionne Detraz, specialising and successfully treating cancer patients worldwide. Thank you, Jamma!
I am so inspired by what the medical profession can do and I’m also 100% behind Barbara’s wish to incorporate a holistic approach into her healing journey.
12 months of the personalised program includes support through chemo, preparation for operation and post-op support. Sounds amazing, right? But expensive and not funded, unfortunately ...
So, this is where we all can come in.
I would appreciate it so much if you could donate any amount you can to support Barbara in her beliefs, ease her healing process and help her to get well. Thank you!
I’m a close friend and a fairy 🧚
Funds will go directly to Barbara to help with unfunded costs.
Raising funds, raising awareness 10 March 2021
Thank you for your support so far! ❤️👐
Enough funds for the first instalment has been raised in the first month . 🙌
As we’ve received such an extraordinary amount of support, we’ve decided to extend the fundraising period.
Varia has started the program and has been following her naturopath and nutritionist advice closely. It has not been easy but the results worth all the effort.
Program involves 2-3 months of quite specific and extremely strict diet - meat free, sugar free, gluten free, dairy free etc aiming to prohibit further cancer growth.
2-days-long fasting around her chemotherapy treatment every week also has made such a positive difference in how Varia feels.
Before the program Varia felt nauseated and exhausted by the treatment but it’s much more tolerable now.
It’s all touch and go - the program has been tailored and tweaked to suit her best - for example the initially suggested 3-days-long fast made Varia feel way too weak... It’s all balanced out now.
First chemotherapy cycle has been completed. Varia is resting this week after her blood transfusion. Big milestone.
Chemotherapy will last till the end of April, operation is scheduled for May.
I admire Varia’s persistence, perseverance and her commitment to the natural way of healing. After a thorough research, she has added more holistic procedures to her arsenal in her fight with cancer.
It’s remarkable how she handles it!
Thanks to your support, Varia feels much better, has more energy and grows stronger.
Not only have you helped to raise the funds but also to raise the #breastcancer awareness and for that we are also very grateful.
