Help contribute to the costs of rowing for the NZ Under 19 squad.
Pukekohe, Auckland
Baxter has been selected to row for New Zealand at the Under 19 world champs in the eight. After achieving the schoolboy record for the pair, winning silver (as a 17 year old) in the Under 22 pair and becoming the 4x+ national champ at Maadi , this selection is fitting recognition of his hundreds of hours of dedication and hard work.
They say it takes a village, and for Baxter this has proven to be true. If it wasn’t for the countless people who have supported him, including coaches, fellow rowers, volunteers, lovers of rowing and of course his family, then he wouldn’t be here.
We are now fundraising to help get him to Paris wearing the silver fern. Join us in getting Baxter to the next level in his rowing career.

4th in the world! 6 August 2023
After winning the heat to progress straight to the final the lads didn’t quite have the legs to make the podium, finishing a close 4th behind GB, Germany and Romania. An amazing experience for them all to compete on the world stage.
Those who know Baxter will know that while he’s feeling disappointed, this will be more fuel on the fire to come back stronger next time!
Thanks again to everyone for their support. This would not have been possible without your generosity.
