    After winning the heat to progress straight to the final the lads didn’t quite have the legs to make the podium, finishing a close 4th behind GB, Germany and Romania. An amazing experience for them all to compete on the world stage.

    Those who know Baxter will know that while he’s feeling disappointed, this will be more fuel on the fire to come back stronger next time!

    As our fundraising nears the end we want to thank everyone who has contributed to Baxter’s campaign. We are overwhelmed, humbled and very appreciative of the support we have received.   • A different kind of training with beach sprints

    Baxter and some of the U19 lads had a crack at coastal rowing beach sprints last weekend. Basically rowing…. but with waves, obstacles and running! Lots of fun for rowers and spectators alike - felt like rowing’s version of the Sevens.
