Help Becky to recover her van & contents after it was randomly vandalised and set on fire

Our lovely friend Becky recently had her van set on fire and vandalised in an unprovoked attack on her belongings. She was woken up in the night to police and firefighters informing her that her van had been burnt out with several items of personal and financial significance inside. The fire service had already put the fire out by the time she was notified.

Becky is an absolute sweetheart- she works with kids and is a passionate hooper, she normally would use her van to get to and from work, has lost valuable equipment, shoes, and many other significant items, such as photos in the fire. Her total losses are around $10,000, and like many of us, didn't have comprehensive insurance.

Becky worked two jobs to afford just one of her most treasured hoops, valued at $800 and she frequently volunteers her time to work with community projects. She had been in the process of setting up a mobile business, using her van as part of a holistic integrated art therapy initiative.

The purpose of this page is to help our friend Becky to recover what she has lost. She recently gained her residency in New Zealand, and as a valuable contributor to our community, we hope that we can raise some funds to help her at least buy another vehicle so that she can resume some normality and pursue her goals while this gross, random act of hostility is investigated.
