Meet Ben, a Whakatane local who's about to take on the world - one fish at a time. Alongside some team mates, Ben's been selected to represent New Zealand at the Fly Fishing World Championships in the Czech Republic, and we couldn't be prouder to support him!

Ben isn’t the kind of guy who’d ever voluntarily boast about his fishing accomplishments, so I will! His journey to the world champs has taken dedication, commitment and a deep love of the sport - especially given the challenges of balancing work, family, and a new baby. He's a passionate fly fisherman with a heart of gold and this opportunity is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to make a splash on the global stage.

Here's the catch (pun intended): Ben needs your help to make it happen. As a competitor, he's responsible for funding the majority of his own way to the championships.
