Help get Blair and Haven to Berlin Special Olympics 2023
Rangiora, Canterbury
Blair Smith and Haven Drinnan have been selected to represent New Zealand at the 2023 Special Olympic Games in Berlin.
Over 7000 athletes from 190 countries will compete in Berlin across 26 sports in the world’s largest inclusive sporting event.
Blair and Haven are the only two North Canterbury athletes, from the strong squad of 40 selected for New Zealand that will be proudly participating in this very special event!
Blair will be participating in Bocce events, while Haven will be participating in swimming events.
In order to attend the Special Olympic Games, they have been asked to contribute $18,000.00 each, to cover the costs of this experience.
They have started fundraising efforts, such as frozen chicken sales, planning Quiz nights and sausage sizzles, and friends and family have suggested we set up a Give-a-Little page on their behalf to help accomplish their fundraising targets.
They really appreciate all of the support in their road to the Olympics, and they would be very grateful if you can share this link with family, friends and colleagues.
Any donations would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you,
Blair Smith and Haven Drinnan
