Thank you so much for taking the time to look at my page.

I have been competing Nationally in Rhythmic Gymnastics since the age of five and my dad was always my number one supporter. So when I lost him to cancer in 2016 and was overwhelmed with grief, I directed these feelings into my sport and focused on the opportunity to trial for the NZ team as soon as I hit 16. I was so excited when I qualified and I knew my dad would have been so proud of me.

Unfortunately due to COVID, GNZ had to cancel the trip. I remained dedicated to my sport hoping another opportunity would arise.

Just as I started to process the disappointment of not being able to compete internationally, my mum was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Being 17 this time round, I became mums biggest supporter as she journeyed chemotherapy, a mastectomy, and radiation. Once again my sport and environment became my happy place.

Now in 2023, I am extremely excited to have made the NZ team travelling to Singapore in a couple of months time.

My heartfelt gratitude goes out to you in helping me with the upcoming costs towards flights, accomodation, entry fees, and associated costs which GNZ have estimated to be around $9,000 NZD.

Thank you to everyone who has supported and encouraged me during challenging times to pursue my passion and reach my ultimate goal.
