Rescue Dave and Alvin and bring them home so they can be safe.
Canterbury
We went over to the Cook Islands to live and work with Mum and Dad. Dad got assaulted at work and now we desperately want to come home. It is not safe for us to be left in the Cook Islands as Dave has already been attacked by other dogs ripping big pieces off his ear. The Cook Islands does not have lab testing facilities and when we come home we will need lab tests, a minimum of three weeks quarantine and flights over. We are beside ourselves as the quarantine quotes have been $6,0000, airfares $900 and vet costs and treatments in the Cook Islands of $600.
We never planned for this and my husband never asked to be assaulted at work. We can’t leave our fur babies behind. We are both desperately trying to find jobs, and relocate all our belongings and just want our babies to come home and be safe.
If you could help bring Dave and Alvin home we would be forever grateful.
All money will be spent on paying quarantine fees, lab tests, vet treatments and air transport for Dave and Alvin.
Dave and Alvin are happy campers. 27 September 2023
Test results are all clear. They have settled into quarantine all being a little noisy thinking they are Great Danes and barking at the other dogs. We are happy they are clear of bugs. The quarantine bill and travel costs are huge so any little bit of help is really appreciated. Times ticking down.
Thanks so much Simon it’s been a stressful journey trying to get Graham and the boys back. We just want to be a family again and start to rebuild and forget the horrible journey we were on. One step closer. All donations help and we want to thank you for being so kind.
