Help Bring Edward Home to India🙏

Our beloved Edward Gonsalves sadly passed away in New Zealand at the young age of 36 after suffering a sudden brain stroke. He was on a ventilator for several days, but despite every effort, he could not be saved.

Edward leaves behind his heartbroken wife, Sereena, and his grieving family in India. His elderly parents are devastated and are unable to travel to New Zealand due to their age and medical conditions. Their only wish now is to receive their beloved son back home and perform his final rites with dignity.

Edward and Sereena were new to New Zealand and were still trying to establish themselves. They did not have insurance and were not financially stable, making this tragedy even more difficult. At this painful time, Sereena is alone in New Zealand, courageously handling the hospital formalities, funeral arrangements, and the heartbreaking process of transporting Edward’s body back to India.

We are working closely with Edward’s family, the Indian High Commission, his employer, and friends to make this possible.
