Help a healthcare worker reunite with his wife and two young children and bring them safely to New Zealand
Manawatu / Whanganui
I am a healthcare provider working in New Zealand, but my wife and my two young children are still in the Middle East. It has now been more than a year since I last saw them, and every day apart is very difficult for us as a family.
My daughter is 6 years old and my son is 2 years old asking about me and as a father it is heartbreaking to know that my children are living with fear while I am so far away.
My only wish is to bring them safely to New Zealand so we can live together as a family again. To make this possible, I need to travel to the Middle East to bring them myself and arrange their journey safely back to New Zealand.
I am raising funds to help cover the costs of travel and relocation so my family can finally join me.
Breakdown of the funds needed:
-Flights from Jordan to New Zealand for my wife and two children – approximately $4,500 NZD
-My travel to Jordan to bring them safely – approximately $2,500 NZD
-Rental bond and initial rent in Palmerston North – approximately $5,000 NZD
-Initial living and settling costs for the family – approximately $3,000 NZD
Total fundraising goal: $15,000 NZD
As a father, it is very painful to be far from my children. My only wish is to bring them safely to New Zealand so we can finally be together again. Any help, even a small donation or sharing this page, means more to us than words can express.
The funds will be used to cover flights to New Zealand for my wife and two young children, flights for me to get to Jordan, rental bond and initial rent, and living costs to help them travel safely and reunite with me. If our goal is not met, the funds will go towards air fare, or the house bond.
