Help bring Rach home

Levin, Manawatu-Wanganui

It’s with great sadness on the 5th May 2022 Mandy, Leon, Kieran, Troy, Riley, Sophie and Charlotte have lost their beautiful daughter and big sister in a tragic accident. Rachel was loved by so many and her beautiful bubbly self will be terribly missed by all. She was currently living in Auckland and Mandy and Leon got that dreaded wake up that is any parents worst nightmare, that their beautiful daughter had been in an accident and was in critical condition. They rushed to Auckland to be by her side but unfortunately was the news no parent wants to hear that their precious daughters injuries were too severe for her to pull through and had to make the hardest choice any parent would ever have to make to turn off life support. As you can appreciate this is a very hard time for the family at the moment and Mandy and Leon are taking one day at a time. They are still currently in Auckland working through all the processes and are very grateful for all the beautiful messages being sent to them. I have set this page up for anyone that would like to give a koha to help relieve some of the financial pressure and to help bring Rach home to Levin and give her the send off that she deserves.

Message from Mandy and Leon ❤️

Just over two weeks have passed when a Policeman came to our door at 4.45am to tell me my Rach had had a tragic accident. We drove to Wellington and took the next flight to Auckland ….. unfortunately she wasn’t able to survive her injuries 💔We, Leon Kim and I spent the next two days in the Critical Care unit waiting for the surgical team to take her into surgery to donate her organs. She gave life to four people❤️❤️❤️❤️

I am devastated beyond words that my beautiful girl won’t share life with us anymore 😭💔

We were in Auckland for 6 days while there an army of beautiful people took food, meals and love to our four children we had to leave at home. I was so worried about them all but they all checked in with us constantly and was so nice to know they were being looked after while we were so far away❤️

So THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH , it meant and means so much to me and my family that we are so blessed to be surrounded by such amazing family and friends🥰

THANK YOU also to all that gave to her give a little page that was kindly arranged by Anna Royal .So grateful and overwhelmed by everyone’s generosity. The messages of support to me are what helped me keep going in Auckland and when we returned home. THANK YOU ALL so much.

It was amazing to meet Rach’s friends from work and other places that she had told me all about. ❤️

LOVE YOU ALL THANK YOU AGAIN 💟
