Auckland axe throwing champion Britt needs YOU to help her compete at the World Axe Throwing Championship!
Glen Eden, Auckland
Hey everyone!
If you don't already know, I've finally earned a bid to go to the World Axe Throwing Championship in Tulsa, Oklahoma! And while this is a dream come true, it's also going to be ridiculously expensive!
A little bit about me; I was born and raised in Auckland and have always been naturally gifted at any sport I tried my luck at. I was an intermediate school teacher for 6 years for the job stability (and love of working with children) but dropped it all to focus on my passion which is facilitating the joy of axe throwing in everyone who steps through the doors of Sweet Axe Throwing Company. I've been throwing competitively from the get go, winning my very first ever hatchet league which has developed into 10 hatchet championships, 3 big axe championships, 2 duals championships and being crowned the inaugural Vikween champion.
All of this is to say that this is an axe-perience of a lifetime that I simply cannot miss! With the rising cost of living I understand if you can't donate much but every little bit counts! If you'd like to donate to the entire team our page is here: https://givealittle.co.nz/cause/help-kiwi-axe-throwers-represent-at-world
Alternatively if you'd like to get something in return for your donation ask me about our Throw with the Pros event happening on the 8th of March, $35 a ticket with all proceeds going to the whole team! You'll even get to be trained to throw by me!
Lots of aroha to you all and thank you for even reading this far,
Britt
