TBC needs your help to keep non-commercial radio alive. Donate, share, volunteer.
Auckland
We're moving studio and we need your help!
TBC is community radio station that began in a lounge, evolved into pop-up live broadcast events and eventually bloomed into what it was always intended to be. A full time station broadcasting LIVE from Tāmaki Makaurau.
We've been running 24/7 ever since pumping non-commercial music from Aotearoa and the world featuring regular volunteer DJs and the occasional international, all with unique tastes playing tracks commercial radio won't touch.
We're excited to be shifting in to a new spot above OPEN coffee on K'rd. The space is incredible and the potential is there but at the moment it's a shell.
TBC is 100% funded by real people who are hungry for music that doesn’t sound like every other station.
This funding has managed to cover our costs for the most part but this new chapter is something that’s hard for a tiny station like us to cover financially.
We don’t get any funding from government or corporate entities so when big changes like this happen we need a helping hand.
If you value the arts and regular people having an outlet to express themselves through the music they love, uninterrupted and without commercial incentives we need your help.
So we're asking. Please DONATE if you can. SHARE if you can't. Come to a fundraising event. VOLUNTEER. We’d love for you to be a part of this journey.
Help us build TBC into an institution.
