Help Tauhinu Sea Scouts build a new boatshed to empower local youth through water-based adventure, skills, and community environmental work.

At Tauhinu Sea Scouts, we are dedicated to empowering youth through adventure, community service and leadership. Our journey has been vibrant and transformative over the last 70 years, culminating in our latest initiative, Project Watershed. Located in Greenhithe, we are building a new boatshed facility. This will be a community watersports hub which allow us to expand our programs helping to provide a safe and modern environment for our members and other community groups to learn and grow their water based skills.

Our building consent is now approved and we are ready to get started. We would love your help to build the boatshed together - every donation counts no matter the amount!

About us

Tauhinu Sea Scout group is New Zealand’s largest scout group. Our membership is across the Kea, Cub, Scout and Venturer groups aged 5-18 supported by our volunteer leaders. Operating for over 70 years in Greenhithe we play a key role in the community.

Use of funds

Funds will go towards building a brand-new boatshed to safely store boats and equipment, supporting youth programs and water activities for the Greenhithe community.
