Help Caroline to see her kids through

  • What's going on

      12 March 2024

I had a scan and the surgeon called me yesterday he said that the remaining cavernoma looked stable so that's good. I realise there's not much can be done so I'll just keep going! I am greatful every day that I am alive 🙂

  • A bit about me

      8 January 2024

Well I'm STILL not driving yet! People have been good about driving me to the Dr's and things! One way you can help is by posting the url to your Facebook page, I don't have Facebook so this would be amazing!

Shared on my page Caroline. Its a tough journey your on. My husband had had 3 brain surgeries this year with some complications so I empathize with your situation. Sending lots of love to you and the kids ❤️

  • Important news and update!

      16 March 2023

Due to the developing severity of my condition and deteriorating health, I have just been informed by my New Zealand neurosurgeon that he is now prepared to risk the surgery in New Zealand. This will happen within the next several weeks.

This is massive news as it means I will no longer have to raise the funds for having the surgery done privately in Australia.

Although the surgery itself will now be fully covered by the public health system, donations made on this page will continue to go towards care for my children at this time, and other expenses associated with surgery and recovery. As you can imagine I am still unable to work, and won't be able to return to work for at least the duration of my recovery period.

I want to thank you again so much for all you have done and given to support me as I go through this. Your humbling generosity has meant the world to me and my family!

I have to see another specialist in Australia, so will update as soon as I've seen him. He will have my scans for review. Thank goodness they are already in Australia.

Thank you, I see you, and you are appreciated xx
