Help Cecille and her family

Cecille Biares, 42 yo, a mother of two from the Philippines came to New Zealand on February this year, to finally reunite with her husband Rey, a truck driver. The couple were full of hope, joy and excitement for their new beginning in this beautiful country. Just weeks after her arrival here in Auckland, she noticed blood on her stool. Just couple of weeks ago their dreams fell apart as they received bad news due to her diagnosis. She was informed by the specialist that she has Colon Cancer. Unfortunately, her visa is not eligible for any public health care here in New Zealand. Yesterday, the doctor advised the couple that she needs to undergo surgery to remove the tumor and it needs to be done within six weeks from now. The cost of the procedure is another set back for them. That cost will be around 40,000 NZD. It is really impossible for them to produce the fund they need from their income and even with the support of their friends and family. Her problem is also burdened by the current situation regarding the COVID pandemic making hard for her to go back home. Nevertheless, The couple decided for Cecille to go back to Philippines to undergo operation. Seeing them in this valley of pain and uncertainty prompt me to setup this give a little page.
