Help support my journey to represent New Zealand at the 2026 U19 Junior World Rowing Championships in Bulgaria
Auckland
Hiya!
My name is Charlotte Mawston, and I am a Year 13 student at Westlake Girls High School. I have recently been selected for the New Zealand Women’s U19 Four to compete at the Junior World Rowing Championships in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, this August.
After years of early mornings, challenging training sessions, and balancing rowing alongside school and leadership responsibilities, I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to represent New Zealand in the sport I love.
Attending the Junior World Championships is fully self-funded by the athletes and includes a six-week training camp in Cambridge, as well as travel and racing costs in Bulgaria. As a student athlete, this is a significant financial commitment for both me and my family. I am working hard to contribute towards the costs myself, but with the short timeframe before departure, along with training and school commitments, it has been difficult to fit in part-time work.
I would be hugely grateful for any support to help me on this journey. Any donation, no matter the size, would mean so much to me and my family.
Thank you so much for your support!
