Help Charlys Mum and Pandanan Village Lombok

On the 8th of August a terrifyingly strong earthquake struck North Lombok. At the time I was staying in my husbands village of Pandanan we were in the room with our 6 month old and 2 year old. We had just enough time to get out before his mothers house collapsed in rubble! Everything fell down around us we had just enough time to get up the hill where we spent the night crying praying in terror as more aftershocks hit! The next morning it was clear the village was destroyed! All around North Lombok the destruction is everywhere. The people here are poor but what they have they share! Life goes on and people are still smiling but living in makeshift shelters. Whatever you can spare even if its just 1 dollar it can help these people get by. I am on my way home to Nz with my babies ...traumatised! The people living there are too yet they cannot leave and government assistance qho knows if any will come?
