    Hello !!

A little progress update for all those wondering. It's officially been 23 weeks and 5 days since Chilli was on deaths door. Today, he is fully recovered and back to his usual handsome, healthy self! Chilli still enjoys long walks on the beach, playing with his pawfriends and sticking his nose in rubbish bins! Luckily for Chilli, he's stepped right back into the modelling business. Talk about a Paw-motion! There is word on the street that he may be getting casted for another upcoming commercial. So if you see him on the big screen, remember that he wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you!!

We want to extend our gratitude one last time to all the amazing people that supported us, we truly couldn't have done it without your support. We hope to say hello when we see you out on walkies. For more updates on his progress be sure to follow his instgram @Chillisgram ! Thanks again xx

  • What a week

      27 February 2024

    What a week.

Now that chilli is home and seemingly starting to be a bit more himself, I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who has donated thus far.

I’ll be honest, it’s been really confronting having to ask people for help. But, on Sunday night I was put in a position of deciding over trying to keep him alive or put him down and I chose to keep him in it. With the potential to continue to cost me, this givealittle page has put a substantial amount of this to ease.

I can’t express my gratitude in words for the love and support. He has been around for many good times but also many difficult times for me, and possibly for some of you, and I could not imagine a world without Chilli! I never realised how much I actually needed him.

Right now, it’s 24/7 monitoring and a pretty extensive schedule for medicine, food, and 💩’s. And although we’ve got a long road to go, I am extremely grateful to still have him here with me.

Thank you again from the bottom of my heart for sharing and donating, and for those who have been there for me. I honestly don’t think I could’ve done it without. This has been a wake up call and I want everyone to let this be an example: that you should never be afraid to ask for help, because you’d be surprised how many people are actually there for you when you think you’re alone.

Today is the last day to donate, Any further donations are still greatly appreciated. ♥️

  • HELP CHILLI HIT 25k BY TUESDAY

      24 February 2024

Little chilli finally got to go home after a week in the ICU recovering from a life threatening surgery. Although he is not fully active, he is showing signs of hunger and is finally going toilet!!! As amazing as this news is, I am reminded that we are not even half way through our journey to full recovery yet. Chilli is facing a serious risk of infection in an open wound (incision) where his stomach drain was. Along with a leaky bowel and post surgery infections . He is under 24/7 home monitoring and is confined to a crate for safety and limitation of activity for the next two weeks. There is a MAJOR risk that he may need to go back into another surgery and will have ongoing medications to keep up with, including potientally another stomach drain! Which we pray won’t happen!!! Please keep donating, every dollar counts and thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for your support and help so far.

  • Critical Update on Chilli's Progress

I've just spoken the veterinary team looking after chilli & said that he's doing well but still has medical hurdles to meet and post surgery risks that can be life threatening. In order for him to recover he needs ongoing administered care and medicine.

With this, I'm reminded of the urgent costs involved with keeping Chilli alive and in medical care. I greatly appreciate the donations thus far but am aware I have a significant financial hurdle to overcome. If you can continue to share this as far and wide as possible, it is appreciated beyond what I am able to put into words and Chilli and I will not forget it. I can't imagine life without him.
