Chloe's CT scan last night showed no changes, which is reassuring news.

She has shown some improvement in her movements and has started rubbing at her eye and attempting to pull at her breathing tube.

Today, Chloe is scheduled to have a CT venogram, which uses contrast dye to give doctors a clearer picture of the blood vessels in her brain and help assess any bleeding or related concerns.

She is also due to be seen by an ophthalmologist (eye specialist) to assess her left eye. Doctors are hoping to examine her hand today as well, to check for a possible fracture.

We are taking things one day at a time and holding on to every little sign of progress.

Thank you all so much for your continued love, support and kind messages. It means the world to us. ❤️

  • Day 1

      13 October 2026

Chloe has had a big day. Since her surgery this morning, to reduce pressure on her brain, she has started showing signs of breathing on her own but is still on a ventilator, she has been coughing too which is a positive sign.

They have stopped her sedation for now and she is responding to our voices by moving her arms, it may have to go back on depending on how she reacts. In an abundance of caution they are sending her for another CT at the surgeons request.

So far there has been no need for further surgery. The doctors have been through and given her a full body examination and aside from a thumb possibly being broken there is no obvious other signs of trauma to her body. They are still investigating one of her eyes that appears to have a little damage.

We have been told there will be good days and bad days in her journey but all things considered today has been a good day. She is certainly not out of the woods and again the next 24hrs are crucial but she is definetly fighting a good fight.

We are overwhelmed by the support we have recieved and please know we appreciate all the messages even if we dont get a chance to respond.
