Living costs during Chris's Chemotherapy

My best friend Chris was diagnosed with cancer this week and will begin chemotherapy on Saturday. The treatment will be five days in a row, followed by once a week for two weeks. This will be repeated four more times. A pretty aggressive treatment which will leave him pretty out of action and focused on his recovery.
I wanted to create this page so that during the next four months Chris wont have to worry about paying for rent and food and any other associated costs that come with the treatment of cancer.
Any amount is appreciated it all helps immensely.

Kia ora,
Apologies for not sending out an update earlier. I still can’t quite put into words how much all this generosity means to me, and what it means for my ability to focus completely on my recovery as I battle this disease.
Yesterday I passed the current half-way point of my chemotherapy. I've also seen some amazing results in my blood work so far and it's all looking really positive as I get into the proper slog at the end of treatment. I'd say it's likely the least fun thing I've had to do, and there was an easier way to check if people actually liked me after all this time, but, why do it the easy way?
