Help Claudia Fight Leukemia for Her Daughter Elora
Our beautiful daughter, sister, Claudia, is only 25 years old and has recently been diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML).
This devastating news has turned her world upside down. At just 25, she should be enjoying life, chasing her dreams, and raising her little girl. Instead, she is now facing the toughest battle of her life — fighting cancer.
She is also the loving mum of Elora, her bright and beautiful 1½-year-old daughter. Elora is her whole world, and Elora is her biggest motivation to keep fighting. We want nothing more than for this little girl to grow up with her mum by her side, healthy and strong.
She has already begun treatment, but it is a long, painful Journey, The costs travel, and the day-to-day expenses while she is unable to work are overwhelming for her and our family.
We are reaching out with heavy hearts but also with hope. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will go directly towards:
Travel and accommodation. Support for her and Elora during this difficult time
If you can’t donate, please consider sharing this page with your friends, family, or workplace. Your kindness, prayers, and support mean more than words can say.
Together, we can help give Claudia the strength and support she needs to fight this battle and continue being the amazing mum Elora deserves.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. 💙

Update from Claudia 6 October 2025
Thank you to the incredible people that have donated! You guys are amazing.
Claudia had a bone marrow biopsy done today to tell if the first round of chemo has worked and from having 64% of Leukemia cells in her blood to now only having 1-2% of Leukemia cells remaining
The doctors are absolutely happy with this news and it is the best news we hoped for as that means chemo is working.
Claudia is off to Wellington tomorrow for a bone marrow transplant consultation to explain further in detail what it requires if she did need it now or in the near future as she is still waiting on some results from this bone marrow, will know in a couple days whether she can come home early than expected or has to stay the 4 months (3 months remaining) and if she does infact need the transplant. If she does there is a long wait list, so she'll continue her chemo and wait.
Claudia starts her second round of chemo this week.
She thanks everyone for donating and all the messages. You guys are incredible 😊
