Help Connor raise $8000 to get to Italy to represent New Zealand in the Junior Rowing Champs.
Auckland
Hi my name is Connor Bacchus and I am 18 years old. I have just started University and have been selected to wear the silver fern and row for New Zealand in Italy. This is a huge achievement after giving up many hours and earning many blisters to follow my dream of rowing on the world stage.
I have moved away from home to study at University and my parents have given so much over the years so I would like to be able to fund this trip on my own as much as possible. The cost of the trip is around $8000 plus associated training costs. So many people have got me where I am in my rowing career - my family, coaches, the school rowing committee, alumni, crew mates and my friends. I would like to thank them for their support by making them proud to see me rowing in the Junior World Rowing Champs in Varese, Italy in late July.
Due to this cost and the time commitment of training and studying I am unable to also fit in working. So, I am asking you to please support my fundraising target of $8000 - every little bit counts. All funds will go directly to the costs of this campaign and future rowing costs.
Thank you so much for helping out.
Connor
