Help Daniel & the Auckland, Arahi Baseball Club Represent NZ Baseball at the 2027 World Masters Games!

$1,040 of $5,000 goal
Given by 3 generous donors in 8 weeks

This will be fundraising for the Auckland Arahi team & I to go play in the Baseball World Masters Games 2027 in Kansai, Japan

Auckland

Kia ora,

I'm Daniel Morrison

A Kiwi baseball nut in a land of rugby and cricket. Baseball has given me incredible mates, road trips, and the rush of the game—through the North Shore City Baseball Club and Kiwi baseball ops (umpiring & behind-the-scenes work).

Our team's YouTube channel shows it all: banter, big plays, and close games. Check out the recordings—links in the videos! (https://youtube.com/@ddm0z2?si=fD1WrXg9kPF5wOfb)

My dream? Representing New Zealand at the Baseball World Masters Games 2027 in Kansai, Japan (May 15–21). It's my biggest lifelong sports event (30+ athletes), and Japan is baseball's spiritual home, packed stadiums, elite play, iconic fields like Moriyama Civic Stadium. Competing there as a Kiwi is a once-in-a-lifetime shot.

To get on that plane and suit up, I need help with the essentials—no luxuries, just the costs to compete. Funds breakdown:

Team accommodation (shared, near venues)

Meals during the competition week

Baseball gear/equipment (uniforms, gloves, cleats, maintenance)

Umpire and official fees

Modest team bonding (post-game meals to celebrate, reflect, and build camaraderie)

Every contribution counts—$10 helps with gear, $200 edges me toward flights. Extra goes to team support or Kiwi baseball.Your support means believing in a passion project against the odds. If you can't donate, a share or comment spreads the word hugely.

Let's create stories from Japan together!

Ngā mihi nui,

Daniel Morrison

Proud Kiwi baseballer – WMG 2027 bound

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
