Help Daniel Represent NZ at Barça Academy in Spain 2027 ⚽

My name is Daniel. I am 12 years old and will be turning 13 this year.

Recently, I was given the incredible opportunity to attend a local clinic run by the FC Barcelona Academy as a Christmas and birthday gift from my parents. During the programme I improved my football skills, positioning as a left winger, and learned more about teamwork, discipline, and game awareness. On the final day, my team won the tournament finals.

Just three days later, my parents received amazing news — I had been selected to attend the prestigious Barça Academy Clinic in Barcelona, Spain in March 2027. Only a small number of players from New Zealand and Australia were selected based on both football ability and values such as respect, humility, effort, ambition and teamwork.

Football isn’t just a hobby for me — it’s my dream and the future I work towards every day. Last season I received the Outstanding Progress Award and train as often as I can to keep improving.

My family and I are doing everything we can to make this opportunity possible. I have given up Futsal and Touch this term, and we are fundraising through baking and other small initiatives. However, the total estimated cost is around $16,600 for academy fees, travel and accommodation for me and one parent.

If I am fortunate enough to attend, I would proudly represent New Zealand and my community. Your support would be an investment in my development, confidence and future goals.
