Hello ease the financial stress as Dave Beaver goes into Palliative care

Tauranga, Bay Of Plenty

2011 Dave was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer, he thought he'd beat it (a few times) had a bunch of years in remission, good times serving communities, a respected member of our fight community, the man with the big smile and the big heart!

Stage 4 has now through the lymph system, into the spine, lungs and liver.

Chemo was the best option to take.

When he was finally cleared for chemo, Dave made it through 3 rounds of treatment, before his immunity completley tanked. Leaving him with no resistance in his body to fight off germs.

A week ago he was rushed to Taupō hospital with Neutropenic Sepsis. Because of the high risk of this he was transfered to Rotorua hospital. The team at Rotorua hospital, have since been trying to figure out the source and type of infection, at the moment they are just covering multiple bases with multiple IV antibiotics pumping into 12hrs of the day.

Since being in hospital Dave has also developed an unknown strain of Pneumonia and is now needing constant oxygen.

This week he will have a procedure on his lungs, to pull samples and hopefully shed light so he can get a targeted antibiotic to treat this.

Today 27th June Dave has had a meeting with Palliative care, and were still praying and staying hopeful. I formed this page to help ease the financial burden for Sarah and Zane. Theyre arent working, theyre by Daves side, and I would appreciate all Daves loved ones coming together to show our love to a man whos served us with his friendship and love.
