Help David Tata in this stressful time as he recovers from a hit n run and his belongings being stolen
Canterbury
You may have seen David on the news the other day when he became the victim of a hit and run in phillpstown,Christchurch .He had just finished his first day on his new job when a pizza delivery driver struck him while using his mobile phone when driving . The driver did not stop and give medical attention but yet hid from police for 48hours until social media came together and the accused handed him self in to authorities.
Just yesterday David and his sister drove to Nelson to pack up his house and move here to Christchurch only to find all his hard earned possessions had been stolen . The culprits told the neighbours they were family there to collect his belongings and help him out while in hospital. They were suspicious so the neighbor called the Motueka police but they had fled the scene before police arrived . We will find these scum as there are only a very few who knew where David lived and also that he was in hospital.
David has a broken neck and deep wounds to his face and may not be able to find a job until he has fully healed. We are investigating options from acc but they are slim as he was a temp worker at the time of the accident.
His brother is supporting him financially at the moment but he too has a big family as it is .
We ask if you could so kindly to donate something to this whanau and help ease some of the stressful burdens David is going through . Anything would be much appreciated and thankyou for reading this far
