Help Dejay on his long road to recovery

Those who know Dejay know the kind of man he is selfless, driven, and always putting others before himself. He’s the person who shows up, who helps without being asked, and who believes deeply in the future and the people around him.

Saturday 17 January, Dejay’s life changed in an instant. He was involved in a life-threatening accident rushed to Christchurch Hospital he underwent emergency brain surgery & placed into an induced coma. Nothing could have prepared his loved ones for this moment.

Dejay needs the same love and support that he has always given so freely to family, friends, colleagues & teammates. This is our moment to stand beside him.

This Givealittle page has been created by Dejay’s close friend Nathan, who wanted to do something meaningful to help carry the load during this incredibly difficult time. It comes from a place of deep friendship, care, and a genuine desire to support Dejay and his family.

Dejay faces a long and uncertain road to recovery. While his world has been forced to pause, the realities of everyday life have not. The mortgage, bills, and ongoing expenses continue, while he is unable to work. His family is doing everything they can to be by his side, this comes with enormous emotional & financial strain.
