Help Elijah go on The Spirit of Adventure

Through Te Kura Elijah has been offered the opportunity to take part in a 10 day sail on the Spirit of Adventure, a highly respected youth development sailing trip providing a unique environment for youth development, where the focus of learning is on team-work, developing skills of communication, self-leadership, self-reliance, self-discipline, self-esteem, resilience, confidence and leadership. The sail dates are 13-23 November, 2023.

The cost is prohibitive for our single income family, therefore we are reaching out to family and friends who may be able to help us raise the needed $2100 to pay for Elijah's trip.

As the second of 5 children, and sandwiched between two siblings with health issues, Elijah's excellent health and easy going nature has meant he has often missed out on things he enjoys because his brothers high needs have taken so much of Chris and my time. He gives so much to his family, giving up his time to help with his brother who has down syndrome, and make lego creations for his youngest brother.

To be able to make this trip on the Spirit of Adventure a reality for Elijah, would be just amazing. We are so grateful to everyone who can help us get him there.
