Help Emma Access Life-Changing Gastric Bypass Surgery

Hi, my name is Emma. For most of my life, I’ve struggled with my weight and disordered eating. It’s something I don’t often talk about, but it has had a huge impact on my health, my confidence, and my everyday life.

I also come from a family history of type 2 diabetes, heart attacks, and obesity. I lost my dad to a heart attack, and as a mum of two young children, I carry a constant fear of leaving them too soon. I want to break this cycle, protect my health, and be here for my kids as they grow up.

After years of trying everything else, I’ve made the brave decision to have gastric bypass surgery in Turkey at Galya. This isn’t about vanity it’s about giving myself the chance to reclaim my health, my energy, and my future.

The total cost is $12,850 NZD. ($12,550 NZD + Travel Insurance $140 NZD & Medication $150 NZD) I’m applying to withdraw $6,000 from my KiwiSaver, and I’ll be covering the rest through a medical loan.
