Help Eric repair his fire damaged show spec GTR
Please help Eric rebuild his car that caught fire mid race and destroyed much of the car before it could be put out

Eric has recently moved over to NZ, with his R33 Skyline GTR that he has built over many years. This car meant so much to him that he spent a lot of money bringing it with him from Australia, so that he could keep enjoying it in his new home.
Unfortunately on a recent race day his car caught fire mid lap, and he couldn't get it into the pits in time to control the fire. He escaped with a minor burn on one hand, but the interior of his car, the fire extinguisher, and wiring were both fire and water damaged. The car also suffered a small fire in the engine bay and has some paint damage from this.
As it happened on a track, insurance won't cover the cost of rebuilding and repairing the car. Eric is one of the friendliest, helpful, cheerful people you will meet. He deserves a hand getting his car back to the condition he always kept it in.

Eric races in the Superlap series with myself. He unfortunately had a major fire destroy much of his vehicle, that he built in Australia and brought with him over to New Zealand. I want to help him as this couldn't have happened to a nicer guy, and we all know how we would feel if this happened to our car!
Use of funds
The funds will go to Eric to buy replacement parts that were damaged. Any surplus (if any) can go to a charity of Eric's choice
